The problem

Tharu Maaru launched as a new, takeout-only concept operating out of a shared commercial kitchen in Cleveland. As a brand-new business, it needed a digital presence built from nothing: a way for customers to discover the brand, browse the menu and actually place an order, plus the operational backbone to fulfill those orders.

Scope delivered

  • A menu-first, mobile-ready site introducing the brand: South Indian classics, Indo-Chinese favorites, biryani and rice dishes, and appetizers.
  • Online ordering through Toast for pickup, plus a catering section with vegetarian, paneer, chicken, goat, fish and shrimp party trays and a quote-request form.
  • Point-of-sale setup on Toast, configured for a takeout-only operation, with the website connected directly to it so online orders flow straight into the restaurant's POS.
  • AI voice ordering integration with Loman AI Voice, so inbound phone calls can be answered and orders taken automatically.
  • Delivery-platform groundwork across DoorDash and Uber Eats, so the business could reach customers on the platforms they already order from.
